"GURKHA BLOOD"
It was formed during The first trail race of "Gurkha Trailblazer" which was organised by GURKHA CEMETERIES TRUST and CHILD WELFARE SCHEME with a team of runners, photographers and managing committee. "GURKHA BLOOD" supported GURKHA TRAILBLAZER voluntarily as well as by participating in it. Gurkha Blood objectives is to prepare local youths to participate in a national and international event held in Hong Kong and represent the Nepalese community on international trail running events. Gurkha Blood is calling upon local youths to be a part of it and widen their perspective.
" Gurkha Blood is not only helping but also encouraging youths to take part in trail running events .They have been closely monitoring and mentoring their runners with essential supports though their resources are limited "
As growing number of Nepalese youths in Hong Kong doesn't get to know more about such events due to lack of proper information and poor advertising. Youths are deprived from emotional and social support within their society and they've been adopting the wrong way in their life due to their poor mindset and low self-esteem which has became a huge issue in Nepalese society. For to overcome those issues there are a lot of events held in Hong Kong ,Various Trail running and different sports events are helping peoples of different age category to rehabilitate and to recreate themselves but on those events, participants from Nepalese community were very rare. Gurkha Blood is not only helping but also encouraging youths to take part in those events specially on trail running events .They have been closely monitoring and mentoring their runners with essential supports though their resources are limited.
Trail runners from "Gurkha Blood" has been actively participating in trail running since their first entry from "GURKHA TRAILBLAZER" and have been able to conquer the various title.

Limbu Sujan started his first trail running through participating on "GURKHA TRAILBLAZER" from "GURKHA BLOOD" . He has managed to hold the title from different Trail running events through his hard work and passion .

He used to have a busy life working in a restaurant and was fond of hiking. Since after participating in GURKHA TRAILBLAZER, his thirst of trail running grew more and more. He is often seen in a trail running event with his team "GURKHA BLOOD". He claims being with "GURKHA BLOOD", he feels more energetic and is happy with his team for believing and being with him and also driving his will power more than he could ever have before. His dream is to carry on his passion and with this passion, he wants to represent Nepalese society in International trail running events. He seems proud and happy running for and with "GURKHA BLOOD" in the trail events. His self paced hard work and day to day motivation and better mentoring from his team (GURKHA BLOOD) helped him achieve his goal which he mentioned continuously. Though being a newbie in this sport we can see his results which is pretty amazing and fantastic. His dedication towards trail running and representing Nepalese society seems to be very strong.He hopes every youth can utilize their time wisely. As there is an English proverb, "If wealth is lost nothing is lost but if health is lost, everything is lost !" and he is keen to work with those who are interested in Trail running.

RAI ALISA too started her trail running through participating on "GURKHA TRAILBLAZER" from "GURKHA BLOOD". She too has managed to hold the title from different Trail running events through her hard work and passion .

She works as a chef and has been working since she completed her bachelor degree. She feels lucky to be a part of "GURKHA BLOOD" and with her busy schedule, she is able to make some time to pursue her passion.She can be found representing Nepalese society from "GURKHA BLOOD" on various Trail running held in Hong Kong. She is pretty active and fond of doing exercises, hiking and trail running.She seems happier that she got some people who support her and motivates her which makes her give her best. The way "GURKHA BLOOD" has helped and motivated her to pursue her passion by guiding her each and every step can be seen above at her results. Her hard work and her dedication really had an impact on her life. Trail running not only made her fit but also widened her perspective and understanding the way of life. She seemed to be concerned more about youths who got dreams, passion, talents that have been given up and she suggest youths to pursue it no matter how different our passion, dreams or talent may be! She hopes to approach youths and help them to explore their passion, dreams, and talents. In the end, she expressed her thankfulness towards "GURKHA BLOOD" for mentoring and motivating her, "GURKHA CEMETERIES TRUST" and "CHILD WELFARE SCHEME" for organising "GURKHA TRAILBLAZER", which was a milestone for her and which gave her golden opportunity to pursue her passion.
